Wednesday the 10th July saw the Commhoist team attend the Westminster eForum Policy Conference on the next steps for telecoms infrastructure in the UK. The event which was held at the Hallam Conference Centre was well attended with professionals from across the telecoms industry.
Speakers included David Clarkson, Competition Policy Director at Ofcom, Alex Blowers, Head of Regulatory Affairs with CityFibre and Andrea Dona, Head of Networks with Vodafone UK, to name three of 13 of the days speakers. Interesting questions about the deployment of 5G were raised within the room, with significant feedback given from both the panel and the audience.
Wayne Brierley, Commhoist Head of Business Development was in attendance at the eForum. He said “It’s always useful to meet up with industry colleagues and discuss best practise and the issues facing our industry. The eForum offers short, insightful speaker sessions, which raise discussion points and give further clarity on the position of the government, operators and providers. I’ll be taking back the learnings of today to my colleagues at Commhoist HQ.”
