We’re excited to announce a UK first, the introduction of two Ruthmann Steiger TBR 260 HV5 MEWP’s to the Commhoist fleet.
This announcement comes at an exciting time for Commhoist, as not only are we introducing new fleet, but we’re also adding new team members. This expansion falls at a time where demand on the network is growing, and the roll-out of 5G is moving at an ever more rapid pace.
What can the new MEWP do?
Ideal for accessing street works poles and greenfield sites with difficult access, the new additions to the Commhoist fleet will allow us to reach a height of 26m with a 300kg basket capacity and 10m outreach.
The chassis comprises of a Mercedes Sprinter with 4 x 4 drive. Giving us the ability to access and work via rough, uneven and muddy tracks.
Another benefit of the new MEWP is that it has a very small footprint and has the ability to partially rig on the non-lifting side to reduce the footprint. This will allow team Commhoist to work and access street works poles were space is of a minimum, permitting us to work towards preventing road closures where possible.
This increase in our MEWP provision allows us to maintain and increase the service we can provide to our client base.
